
Nag Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of the bright half of the Sawan month. According to astrology, his fifth date lord in Hinduism is the Serpent. Snakes are especially revered on this day.
Nag Panchami Muhurat
1. Naga Vrat is observed on Shravana Shukla Panchami (5th day of bright half moon of Shravan).
2. If Panchami is dominant in Titi with less than 3 Mufratz and Chaturthi also has less than 3 Mufratz on the previous day, Chaturthi's Vrat must be observed.
3. If also chaturthi prevailed over his 3 muhurats, and the next day he began to finish panchami after 2 muhurats, it is considered that fasting can only be observed on the next day.
Nag Panchami Fast & Puja Vidhi
1st Eight snakes are the gods of this festival. That is why they are worshiped on this day. Their names are Anant, Vasuki, Padma, Maha Padma, Takshak, Claire, Kalkata and Shankha.
2. eat at chaturthi and fast the next day

3. At the puja, place a serpent image or an earthen idol on a wooden chair.
4. Offer turmeric, vermilion, rice and flowers to Nag Devta.

7. You can also offer this mixed milk to the snake by making an offering to the snake charmer.
